This new group campground in southwest Virginia is located near the Cascades Recreation Area of the Jefferson National Forest. There are 220 acres of hiking trails, a mile of one of Virginia's top three trout-fising streams, clear skies, and plenty of room for horseback riding (if you bring the horse). New England is not the only region of the United States with gorgeous fall colors! Try Virginia this year. We're close enough to Radford University (30 miles) and VA Tech (20 miles) to accomodate parents and college sports fans. Fire ring and picnic table with each site. Hot shower available. Camping equipment is available for rent if you run short, or choose not to buy it before your vacation. Reasonable rates: $5 per person per night, maximum $15 per family per night. Electrical hook-ups for an additional $5 per night. Y'all come now, you hear!
