We are located 120 south of Kansas City, MO on Highway 71. We are only 25 miles north of the Precious Moments Chapel in Carthage, MO.Lamar is the birthplace of President Harry S. Truman and has a local historic site of his birthplace. Prarie State Park is nearby in Liberal, MO. Lamar has a public observatory and a nice city park with lots of nice park equipment and an aquadic park. Our campground has long, level RV sites, prepared tent pads with fire rings and lantern posts. We also have camping kabins and a camping kitchen which is a covered pavilion with stove-top burners and sinks with hot water. We have a nice swimming pool and a one-acre fishing pond as well as a playground, game room, volleyball net, shuffleboard court and horseshoe pits.The campers we've served have really appreciated our nice, clean restrooms, our country setting, our spacious sites, and our warm hospitality.We look forward to serving you.From Highway 71, take the Lamar exit and turn East. At the stopligh (by McDonald's) turn south and go two miles. We are located on the East side of the road.
