Country Campground (New In 1995) is located just ONE MILE SOUTH of Detroit Lakes,in a rural country setting, on approx. 15 acres completely lawn-mowed as one would find a golf course.. Features : Our OFFICE has all the normal goodies for camping, Plus (Ultra-CLEAN toilets & showers), Plus Laundry Room. (Spare barbeque grills, ICE, Firewood) The Campground has 30 sites with full hook-ups, 30 amp. Elect., Tables & Fire-rings. 8 Drive-thru Sites for the BIG RIGs.. Large REC. Bldg. with Pool tables, Ping-pong, Games, Exer. Equip., T.V., Tables & Chairs, PLUS more (Ultra-CLEAN toilets & showers). Outside find - Fenced Children play area (lotza toys), Soft-ball field, Volley-ball court (beach sand), Basket-ball (concrete slab), horseshoes. On our small lake are Paddle-boats at the dock. (Sorry NO SWIM beach). Close to all activities, Executive Golf Course 2 miles, City--mile long beach just 3 miles, Walk distance to OUT-DOOR MUSIC FESTIVALS. (Check this out)... Many public boat ramps just minutes away. We WELCOME all campers (Tenters, Pull-behinds, & R.V.ers).
