WE offer Modern Cottages (just like home), Semi-modern cabins, Rustic cabins; Large wooded secluded Campsites available 5 primitive, 13 with electric & A Group campsite with Pavilion picnic shelter. A place the whole family (even pet) can enjoy togetherness having fun and relaxing with-in nature. You can be as active as you like to be, as a guest of R & J Resort. Kids of all ages can enjoy our great playground area. With Horseshoe pit, Basketball, Volleyball, Tetherball, Swings, Slides, Tower Jungle Gum, Sandboxes and 2 Playhouses. Some of the best fishing fun can be had for salmon, steelhead, walleye, trout at Tippy Dam, Big Manistee River, Bear creek or local lake for pan fishing near-by & the back waters above the dam for fishing or bring your own jet-ski fun to the back waters. Try being brave & ride the river waves, canoe, kayak, tube or float down Big or little Manistee River or Pine River. Lots of other sights to see, free things, a house made of Glass bottles, light houses, fish hatchery's, walks thru nature in the forest, mystery spot called Gravity hill, defy gravity as a rolling ball or your car is pulled back up the hill, end your night remembering the free fun day while roasting marshmallows or make banana boats by the camp-fire under a star filled sky. Spend a little take a $5.00 boat outing with kids to catch buckets of pan fish, remember the old family nights at the drive-in well take yourself back in time at Cherry bowl drive-in.
