Took a trip to Davy Crockett Birthplace State Park last weekend for a tent camping weekend. Tent campers stay away!! RV sites are shaded. Tent sites are basically not. Also, it has been raining alot so most of the fire rings were not usable. The tent area is mostly grassy with a small amount of gravel in the drive. Picnic tables are wooden and most were in the mud!! I know it could not be helped that it had rained, but if they could prepare some better tent sites it would help. The sites were very close together and it was difficult to tell where to put your tent and things. We ended up pulling up our things and headed to a hotel in Greeneville!!
