Although I try to avoid organized campgrounds Montan de Oro is one of my favorite destination. Only 50 sites make it one of the nicest spots to camp. Right on the beach and just south or Oro Bay this place has it all. There is surfing, a gorgeous beach and biking for the whole family. Plenty of mountain biking and great road biking. The ride from Moro to San Simeon Bay near Hearst Castle is fantastic. Plus you get to go at a leisurly pace through Cayucos and Cambria. Hiking near the Camprgrounds is wonderful with tons of wild life.
