We spent a miserable week at this campground in April. We were without water for four days. The management left a note saying they would be working on the water main and would disconnect all hoses prior to work. The work happened, the disconnect did not. Each day we were told the water would be back on "in just a little bit." That didn't happen. The water was restored - just as we were leaving the campground. The internet promised was also non functional for the majority of our stay. An interesting situation - no water and no internet available so that we could search for an alternative campground (or conduct business). When we approached the staff we were told that the owners would be compensating for the inconvenience. As we were packing up to leave the campground we received a call from a lady who explained that she and her husband were purchasing the campground and wanted to assure us that they would be making great improvements. Over a series of calls, she promised that they would contact all who had camped during that week, would be emailing certificates for free camping in the future and would credit our charge card for two nights of our stay - and did, in fact, call the friends who had camped beside of us with the same offer. That seemed very reasonable to us, unfortunately it never happened. When we called the campground to ask why we had not received credit or emails, we were informed, by a man claiming to be the owner, that he had no intention of honoring any of his wife's promises. If they were not going to follow up, why call us to make the promises? They obviously have enough money, and enough campers, to not care if they receive return visits.

We were camping in a 40' motor home with tow vehicle. Parking was great, pet area outstanding.

Lots of highway noise and false promises. Stay somewhere else.
