Yosemite Valley is usually overcrowded. This is another side of the park fewer people visit. We stayed here on a weekend in January 2008 and saw Bald Eagles, Deer, and Coyotes. There were only two other sites taken. On a weekend in March 2009 most of the A loop was filled. The B and C loops are only open during the peak season. All of the campground follows the river, providing nice scenery, sounds, and swimming in the warmer months. Many sights are located right on the river's edge. The road back to the B and C loops is narrow, so larger rigs may want to keep to the A loop.
Overall, a pretty campground in a quiter part of Yosemite National Park.
