Rainbow Falls has a great group camp for many campers to gather in with a group kitchen, picnic tables and campfire. The scenery is wonderful for hiking and it has a very scenic river. We miss the bridge that washed out at the entry over the falls but that's nature for you! I have fond memories of taking my daughter there to camp as a little girl. To this day the park is special to her as well. Ranger Phil is a fun guy to have in charge and has always been accomodating. The park has always been clean and mowed. As for prices, its the same for all State Parks. Talk to your governor if you don't want to pay or camp in your own backyard. It takes money to keep it maintained and pristine. I think its a wonderful place to take your family.
