On the positive side, the campground is nice, there are some decent fish in the lakes, the staff is friendly and the swimming pool is pretty good.

Our rental camper was in good shape except the mattress in the main bedroom was a box spring, not a mattress and was uncomfortable to sleep on. The door lock was broken on the inside of the door so the door could be locked from the outside but not from the inside.

The miniature golf course is terribly run down but they often had other activities going on for kids.

During our stay, the camp’s water pump broke so there was often no running water at any camp site. They turned on the water for brief times at very low pressure but most campers couldn’t take showers. They did bring in gallon jugs of bottled water which they would SELL you for $1.85 a bottle. I thought, under the circumstances, they could have given away at least one bottle per camp site.

But all in all, we had a good time.
