On a previous visit to the area we drove through Beech Bend TVA Campground. We were impressed with the sites in close proximity to the river. The main road was paved & the park appeared clean. We chose to camp here when we returned. We got NO SLEEP the entire time. Trucks & cars drove thru constantly (night & day). At night, the auto lights illuminated the whole tent. Music was played INCREDIBLY LOUD almost all night. To have "rolling on the river" blaring at 3 a.m. is not as fun as it might sound!! I can say that the trash was picked up & the restrooms somewhat clean. If you are looking for a comfortable place to relax & get away from stress, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STOPPING HERE!! What a shame! This campground has real potential!
