For all our requirements this was a nice place to camp. We don't need electrical as those sites are almost impossible to reserve. The online map doesn't really represent actual proximity to washrooms, so I would suggest you check out your site if reserving online, if proximity to a washroom is a must. The bathrooms were nice mirrors were great and showers free and hot. There is a very nasty unfriendly old lady that works in the check in,,,,,the rest are very friendly and actually she isn't scheduled on friday night nor saturday's for that reason. Why this woman is there is beyond us, she shouldn't be working with the public, and obviously the park people know that. The ranger was awesome, and allowed us to use the camp recreation building on a rainy night, as it wasn't reserved nor rented to sit and enjoy cards and eat our picnic supper. We will use this again, because of the clean washrooms, but its a basic only camp.

Cave Springs used to be a really enjoyable campgound. Been camping here for the last 7 years (yearly or 2x a year). A few weeks ago, camping there seemed different. Aside from being crowded and with some loud campers at night, noticed 2 new hosts (middle-aged) who were very unfriendly. The host we were to used to seeing (an old guy)is still there and still nothing but wonderful. The old man made camping at Cave Springs worthwhile (as every camping trip should be). The 2 new hosts does not communicate well - very abrasive and even should say descriminating. They dealt with people (who may have been first timers) rashly but didnt deal with the noise at night, etc. Just different there now and will not recommend this campground to my friends. And oh by the way, too many skunks there now - saw 1-2 within the last few years being there but now, they swarm your site with 6-8 of them. Night campfires not fun anymore!!!

We stayed at this campground for 3 nights in a motorhome during the 400th celebration of Sante Fe. It was nice to have room between sites. It was clean and very quiet. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There was no company store, but it was within walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. Public transportation was about a block away and you could go to the Plaza or ride the 'rail runner' to Albuquerque. My wife and I would definitely stay at this campground again and plan to do so next year.

My wife and I spent 2 nights in the tent loop the weekend of 9/11-12/09 and had a wonderful time. On Friday night, we were the only campers in the 50 site tent loop and on Saturday night one other tent camper came in. It was like having the entire park to ourselves!

I'd give it 5 stars but for the lack of trash cans. They only have one dumpster by the exit and I like to take my trash out nightly to keep the critters from getting into the bags.
This is a campground we'll go back to!

This is a quiet spot but the campground is very run down - broken fire pits, lots of cow poop, boat ramp is broken beyond being used. Restrooms are clean though. This is one of those rare parks where you actually feel welcomed. As we arrived the owner ran out to meet us and direct us to our site, before we ever signed in. The WiFi is excellent. And when you sign in the owner offers you FREE samples of his wife's various homemade jellies or relish. A refreshing change from the often rude reception presented by some of the larger, high-dollar parks. If you travel north Arkansas stop in. You are only 30 minutes from Branson, but you will feel as if you just reached that perfect destination you dreamed of when you bought your RV.

I have never been treated with such critism in my adult life. Upon arrival the ranger was very nice but then at 8:30pm he turned into some other person. Our group was having a family rfeunion. We had no music playing. There was no fighting or anything other than socializing. We went to have a great time but the ranger ordered us to go to bed at 9pm like were three years old or something. We drove three hours to get there. The park was beutiful but we will never return again and something really needs done about that ranger.

Had a nice, relaxing stay for the second time @ Packwood RV. We strolled to the grocery store daily, built fires with the fire pits from the campgrounds office and watched the airplanes land and take off from the airport located directly behind the park. We looked out to our left to see a stunning view of Mt. Tatoosh and looked to our right to see a hand full of elk grazing on the trees. The park is a few decades old so there's alot of charm and old growth trees. Best part was the well lit bathrooms with hot water for showers!!!!! Price was right, we'll definitely be back.

Campground high in the mountains and at a trailhead. No trash, clean restrooms. Great views. Note that this and other Colorado campgrounds have been expensive at 12-14 dollars and have had no water, trash, or both. My wife and I have been full time RV'ers for the past 5 years. We have been from California to New Jersey to Florida to Northern Wisconsin. Pine Cone is the worst RV park we ever stopped at. We paid $48.00 plus tax and left the park 1 hour later and drove 90 miles to a much better park in the Pocono's.

We planned to stay 1 month at Pine Cone, 1 hour was long enough. The staff is very rude, the gal checking us in throw a registration card down in front of me and said here fill this out, ane went back to reading her news paper.

The park has no paved or gravel roads, or pads. They say it is a quite park, no loud music, NOT! we pulled in and they had a whole group with loud music, kids running everywhere.

We would have went to the office at the park to talk to them but after the way we were checked in, it sent the signal dont bother us

There a lot lot lot better parks to stay at in New Jersey.

Got in on a cancellation. Very nice people, very nice park. Some sites are next to the amusement park, so they may be noisier than you want, but others are down by a neat small river and seem to be in an another world altogether. The entrance is from a very busy road; at first it may seem impossible that it would be quiet, but the entrance road is quite long, and once down into the park it is very quiet and peaceful. Many shopping opportunities very close by, and we would definitely stay here again. Had no trouble with our 40ft MH.

First, let me say this is a beautiful campground, especially if you camp on the lake sites. This used to be a nice campground where we camped at on holidays. But the new owners should not be in the campground business. The sites have not be leveled in a couple of years. There is no escourt to your site to make sure you can get in (some of them are hard to get in to). There used to be garbage pickup and wood delivery, but not anymore. You have to do that on your own. There are creepy looking staff members working there now. Not to mention if you have a difference of opinion with the owner, she throws you out. I've seen good people thrown out for stupid things...both weekenders and seasonals alike. For the most part the seasonal campers are nice people, but when we camped there last, alot of them were fed up and not going to return.

There are people up at night maikng noise and no one comes around to check on things. There is no security either.

If you want a party campground with no rule enforcement, this is your place.

This is one of several campgrounds on the June Lake Loop. I like this one for the location. It is a little off the main road which makes it quiter than the others. And many of the sites have a view of the lake. But there is mostly scrub brush here and many of the sites are right next to each other, so there is little privacy. It seems to be lacking in bathrooms as well. Some loops don't have any and you have to walk quite a ways to the nearest. Anywhere else I would rate this campground three stars at best, but because of location, I'll give it a four.

We recently stayed at this park for three (3) weeks. There are three sections, the first and second ones are very close to the ranger station - one section being a tent only section with most sites on the waterfront, the second with small sites, although there are many on the waterfront. The third one is a good bit farther away and the sites are bigger, with a lot of them being on the waterfront or having a water view, since this park is on the Tennessee River. It is a wonderful county owned park offering several boat ramps; several docks for fishing and tieing up your boat; very little traffic which makes for easy bike riding or walking; clean, roomy modern bath houses and restrooms. It is a beautiful hilly campground with lots of shade trees. The only downsides to this campground are: 1)there are no sewer hookups at any of the sites, although there is a sewerage disposal site in both sections allowing RV's, in addition to one in the 'day park' area as you are entering/leaving the park: 2) they take no reservations - it is first come/first served. Neither of these will keep us from going there again.
The park is close to grocery shopping and anything else you may want. This is a beautiful campground and very well maintained, as well as being constantly patrolled by the Rangers. They run a tight ship. You can feel very safe here!!!

Very friendly staff, clean campground. Enjoyed the golf in the area as well as the wineries. Next visit I plan to do some fishing at the lake nearby. Would recommend this campground.
