About: This campground is located on the western end of the Echo Trail, a remote country road that traverses through the heart of the western Superior National Forest. It is situated on the southern shore of Lake Jeanette and provides scenic views of the lake. The terrain is covered with a granite rock outcropping and a mix of pine and spruce trees. This area was once the site of a Civilian Conservation Corps camp which operated in the 1930s.

Restrictions: Maximum of nine people per site. There is space for one vehicle and one towed vehicle (such as a boat trailer). Additional vehicles require additional half fee, and must park on road sides. No ATVs allowed.

Directions: Lake Jeanette Campground is on the Echo Trail, 32 miles northeast of Orr, MN.

From Orr, take St. Louis County 23 to Buyck (16 miles). At Buyck, County 23 turns into County 24. Continue on County 24 for 4 miles to the Echo Trail (County Road 116). Turn right, 12 miles to campground entrance road. Turn left onto entrance road.
