About: Located near the Paint River on the eastern edge of the Ottawa National Forest. This site offers deep woods secluded camping near a river that provides fishing and canoeing opportunities.

Restrictions: This Campground is open but with limited services at this time. There is currently no charge for camping. Pack in and Pack out. No water available at the site.
Directions: From Iron River, Mi., go west on US 2 to the City Limits, take County Road 653 north approximately 9 miles, at Gibbs City the road changes to FR 2130 (Ponozzo Road), continue north for approximately 4 1/2 miles, turn right onto FR 2180, travel approximately 4 miles to campground.
