About: There are five group campsites at Lone Mesa, located 8 miles from U.S. 191 on Utah Highway 313. The five sites accommodate from 10 to 40 people. There is almost unlimited parking for vehicles, including the largest RVs.
The Lone Mesa Camping Area is located just off Utah Highway 313, which is a State of Utah Scenic Byway. Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse Point State Park are nearby. A particular attraction of the site is its proximity to a system of unpaved routes for off highway vehicle use.
Fees: $3.00 per person per night. There is a $15.00 reservation fee. (2012)
Restrictions: Campsites are available on a first-come, first served basis.
