About: The campsites offer spectacular views of the Colorado River and massive redrock cliffs of Arches National Park. Both RV and tent camping are available. This campground is popular due to its proximity to town, its shade during the summer, and the beautiful scenery.

Spectacular Canyon Setting Near Moab
This is the closest BLM campground to Moab and is near the terminus of the Porcupine Rim trail. A couple miles downstream there is a fresh water spring coming right out of the wall of the canyon which is a popular watering hole. This campground has been a favorite of mountain bikers for the last couple decades. I am somewhat disappointed that in the last few years the BLM completely leveled what was a unique tent campground with a lot of privacy and turned it into yet another camp for big RV's.
