About: Pioneer Campground is a developed campground composed of 5 units on Soldier Creek. The campground can be reserved in its entirety for groups of up to 50 people. The amphitheater can be used for group events. Campground amenities include drinking water and toilets. The (name?) trailhead (#?) begins at the end of Forest Road 093 and joins a major network in the Soldier Mountains. In the winter, there is parking at nearby Couch Summit for about 100 miles of snowmobile trails through the forest and private lands. A warming hut is available in Basalt Creek on the Wells Summit section.
