About: 3.5 miles of Nature/Hiking trails in the hills above the park. Several excellent golf courses are nearby, as are a number of antique shops and excellent restaurants. This quiet, beautiful, 126 acre, tree shaded park located on the Medina River in the historic city of Castroville is only 20 minutes away from Lake Medina, San Antonio and its numerous attractions and Lackland AFB. It is less than 60 minutes from the scenic Texas Hill Country and an easy day trip to Mexico.

Recreation: Fishing, swimming pool (seasonal), playgrounds, lighted tennis/volleyball/basketball courts, soccer fields, bird watching, butterfly garden, tent camping in designated area, covered pavilions, shaded picnic tables w/BarBQ pits, 1 mile easy walking trail

Directions: In Castroville: From junction of US Hwy 90 & Athens Street, go South 5 blocks on Athens Street to Lisbon Street, then right on Lisbon Street 3 blocks to Alsace Street, then left on Alsace Street to park entrance on right.
