About: Mountain View is located one-quarter mile west of the Lowman Ranger Station on Highway 21 at milepost 73.9. Set along the banks of the South Fork Payette River, the campground is shaded by a ponderosa pine forest. Campground use is moderate to heavy, and the campground is frequently full during the summer months, especially on weekends.
