Directions:
From Lordsburg, NM: Take Highway 90 north east to Silver City. From Deming, NM, take Highway 180 north west to Silver City. Winter travelers on these roads may see snow in the distance on the higher elevations of the county, but snow rarely appears and even more rarely stays on these highways.
From Albuquerque and northern New Mexico: You can find Grant County by traveling south down Interstate Highway 25 to the exit for Hatch, NM, then taking an easy route onto Highway 180 north toward Silver City.
