About: Double Lake Recreation Area was built in 1937 by the Civilian Conservation Corps and offers camping, fishing, swimming, picnicking, hiking or just getting back in touch with nature.

A 9-mile mountain bike trail meanders around the lake.

Directions:
From Hwy. 59 in Cleveland, take FM 2025 north 17 mi., turn right at Double Lake.
