About: Located 70 miles outside of Orlando and just 20 miles from Tampa, Sweetwater RV Resort in Zephyrhills offers a quiet retreat for its 55+ community that’s close enough for day trips some of Florida’s top attractions. Although Zephyrhills is primarily a small farming town, the area has a claim to fame due to its seven deep wells of pure spring water that’s sold across the globe. For visitors interested in an adrenaline rush, Zephyrhills is also a popular skydiving destination.
But there’s no need to leave the resort for all your entertainment. Sweetwater provides a vibrant retirement community with plenty of activities in our spacious clubhouse - including water aerobics, crafts, barbecues, morning coffee get-togethers and weekly bingo. Guests can also utilize one of our many resort-maintained amenities to organize their own friendly games of horseshoes, billiards and shuffleboard.
