Directions: Frog Meadow Guard Station is located 2 hours North East of Bakersfield, or 2 hours South East of Porterville. Take Highway 65 either from Bakersfield or Porterville to Highway 155 and travel east to the Jack Ranch Road. Turn left (north) to Old Stage Road (M3) to the Sugarloaf Road (M9); right on Forest Road 23S16 through Portuguese Pass to Forest Road 24S50. Turn left on 24S50 (dirt road) and travel approximately 4.3 miles to the intersection with Forest Road 24S86. Turn right and travel approximately half a mile to the cabin.
