About: Perception Park is nestled among cottonwoods and willows on the banks of the South Fork of the Ogden River at an elevation of 5,200 feet. Fishing and tubing are popular activities on the river at this family-friendly and fully ADA-accessible site. A paved nature trail runs alongside the river.

This campground contains three group sites that can accommodate up to 50 people each with pavilions, large picnic tables, serving tables, fire rings with benches, BBQ grills, and cement site pads. (McKay Group Site does not have a pavilion.) Vault toilets, potable water, and garbage service are provided. Playgrounds, volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits are available. A campground host is on-site; firewood is available for purchase. Roads and parking spurs are paved. Additional single and double-family sites are available on a first come, first served basis.

Beautiful Ogden Valley has numerous boating, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, ATV, and scenic-driving opportunities. Pineview Reservoir is a short drive from the campground with boating, fishing, and swimming. Causey Reservoir is close by, offering great canoeing, fishing, hiking, biking, and horse trails. Highway 39 continues on to Monte Cristo Summit with sweeping mountain views. ATV and hiking trails are abundant in the area.

Directions: Perception Park is located approximately 7.5 miles east of Huntsville, Utah, on Highway 39. From I-15, take the 12th Street exit and continue through Ogden Canyon. Continue on Highway 39 toward Monte Cristo. Turn left after entering the campground.
