About: Friendship Campground, located about 15 miles out of Hyrum, UT, rests at an elevation of 5,600 feet in the alpine mountains of Blacksmith Fork Canyon. Here, campers can escape the summer’s heat under the shady Maples and enjoy the beauty of the summer grasses and wildflowers that cover the campground.

There are plenty of outdoor activities to keep busy. Richards Hollow Trail begins just outside the campground, great for both hiking and mountain biking. There is also great fishing in the area for wild browns, cutthroat trout and rainbow trout. The Shoshone ATV trail system is also nearby.

The group site at Friendship is available for reservations and can accommodate up to 25 people. Reservations can be made up to one year in advance but they must be made at least 4 days before you intended arrival date.

Directions: From Hyrum, Utah, travel approximately 9 miles east up paved Blacksmith Fork Canyon, then turn left at Left Hand Fork and travel 4.5 miles on a dirt road to the campground. The group area is the first site on the left as you enter the campground.
