About: Mahogany Cove Campground is located in a grassy meadow along the Beaver Canyon Scenic Byway just 12 miles from Beaver, Utah at an elevation of 7,200 feet. Thick stands of mahogany, pinion, juniper and ponderosa pine trees provide partial shade. Fishing for rainbow and brook trout is popular on the Beaver River, which can be accessed one mile below the campground.

This campground consists of seven individual sites that make up one group site. If you want to make reservations, you must reserve the entire site for $60/night. Up to 75 people and 20 vehicles can be accommodated. Reservations are posted at the campground in advance. If the entire site is not reserved, the individual sites can be used on a first come, first served basis. The first site has several picnic tables and a larger grill and fire ring. The other six sites each contain one picnic table, fire ring, and grill. Vault toilets and potable water are provided. Roads and parking spurs are gravel. Trailers are permitted.

Beaver Canyon Scenic Byway is 17 miles long, with beautiful views of the Tushar Mountains. Numerous mountain lakes and streams provide fishing, boating, and canoeing opportunities. Hiking, mountain biking, and hunting are popular activities in the area.
