About: Union Flat Campground is located on the North Yuba River along Hwy 49. It is surrounded by oak and maple trees. Hiking trails nearby and gold panning at the campground. This campground is the only place on the North Yuba River for recreational mining.

Restrictions: Camping outside designated campground is prohibited in this area; gold panning is for "hands and pans" only.
