About: Jarvies Family Boat-In Campground is located on Flaming Gorge Reservoir in Jarvies Canyon, just a 20-minute boat ride from Cedar Springs Marina at an elevation of 6,040 feet. Junipers and pinyon pines offer partial shade. Boating, fishing, and swimming are popular activities right out your front door. A hiking trail passes through the site as well.

This campground is newly renovated, with eight single-family sites, all of which are reservable. Each site has a cabana, picnic table, tent pad, and fire ring with grill. A vault toilet is provided. A private dock is down a short hill on the shoreline. This campground can only be accessed by boat. Cedar Springs and Mustang Ridge boat ramps can be used, and are approximately four miles away.

Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area is known not only for its beautiful red cliffs, but also for its world-class fishing. Lake, brown and rainbow trout fishing, boating, waterskiing, jet skiing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming and scuba diving are popular activities on the reservoir. River rafting on the Green River is spectacular, with red cliffs rising on both sides. Flaming Gorge Dam offers interesting guided tours of the working hydroelectric plant and the dam itself; the adjacent visitor center has area history exhibits.
