About: Five developed units. First come first serve. There are now 2 bear proof trash bins at the trail head. If these become too full, please pack your trash out.
There is also now a Trail Head sign in sheet, provided for your safety and for comments. By keeping track of trail visitors, we can insure that incase of an emergency, we will know who is on the trail. Thank you for your cooperation.

Directions: From Oroville take Oro Dam Blvd. to Olive Hwy., turn right. Take Olive Hwy. approximately 5 miles to Forbestown Rd., turn right and go 7 miles. Turn left on Lumpkin Rd., continue 12 miles to trailhead turn off and turn left. Go 1.5 miles to parking area. Camp units are at the beginning of the parking area while trailhead is at the end.
