Fashoda Campground
This is a tent only campground. The campsites are in the trees above one of the nicest beaches you can imagine on Union Valley Reservoir.
The weather was horrible and we froze our tails off. The reserve websites are wrong! They say there is a store and restaurant nearby, well it's a good 10 mile drive with lots of curves in it. Not quick. I never saw a ranger and not even sure if anyone even checked our reservations. Lots of places frown on picking up wood for fires. This place encourages it! Fallen trees for cutting up. People actually sawed off pieces and carried them back to their campsites! The lake was nice. Saw lots of fishing poles, no fish.
