Restrictions: Please use the stove or fire ring provided. Use only dead and down wood for your campfires. Make sure your fire is dead out before leaving. Please keep family pets on a leash at all times.

Directions: 23 miles east of Placerville on Highway 50 and 23 miles north on Ice House Road (Forest Road 3) then (left) 0.5 miles on Forest Road 13N28.

South Fork Group Campground
This is a large group campground just off the beaten path in the Eldorado National Forest. It is expensive at $100 a night but will accommodate up to 100 people. It has recently been renovated with new gravel, bear boxes, and three new CXT outhouses. The only downside is the lack of a water system so be sure and bring your own. Some of the nicest large conifers on the Eldorado are in this campground.
