About: Ferris Canyon Campground is three miles upstream from Cabin Canyon along Forest Rd. 504. This barrier-free facility has 7 sites for camping and picnicking, with a hand pump for water. It is 3.5 miles downstream of the dam and popular with fly fishermen (catch-and-release only). The historic Lone Dome Ranger Station is nearby.

Directions: Directions from Dolores, Colorado: Travel 37 miles northwest to campground on following roads: Highway 184, U.S. Highway 491 and County Roads 505 and 504.
