About: This group campground is located along Highway 119 in a lodgepole pine forest setting. There is a large parking area for the six walk-in sites. Sites # 1-5 can accommodate 5-30 people and site # 6 can accommodate 1-15 people. Tents only, no campers or trailers past parking area. There is an amphitheater and playground. There is no electric/water/sewer hook-ups at this campground. Water and restrooms area available. There are hiking, scenic viewing, camping, fishing, and off-highway vehicle opportunities nearby. Reservations are mandatory.

Directions: Off I-25 from Denver, west on 6th Avenue to State Highway 6, through Clear Creek Canyon. Turn on State Highway 119 toward Blackhawk and Central City. Follow highway to 4 miles north of Blackhawk. Just pastGilpin County School, turn left at Pickle Gulch sign. Follow signs from there.
