About: The Northern Arapaho Tribe shares a 2.2 million-acre reservation with the Eastern Shoshone Tribe. The Wind River Indian Reservation, which is centrally located in the State of Wyoming, has many diverse ecosystems that include rivers, lakes, streams, mountains, forests, sagebrush, grasses, canyons, natural springs, hot springs, and desert-like areas. There are approximately ten thousand tribal members, from both tribes, who currently reside on the reservation.
