Old Growth Forest and the North Umpqua River
This campground is right on the river. In fact it is right on a huge horseshoe bend in the river and is nearly surrounded by the North Umpqua River. The old growth forest is moss covered and gorgeous. It is a little dark and sometimes damp, but a great place to base-camp out of and visit the local hiking trails or hot springs.
