Yellow Pine Campground is the largest of 3 campgrounds along Highway 26 which is part of the Journey Through Time Scenic Byway. The campground offers campsites for both tents and small trailers, and has 5 accessible campsites. Popular activities include; overnight camping for visitors travelling across the state, picnicking, exploring along the byway. There is also accessible barrier-free trail to Wetmore Campground. Wildflowers, wildlife, birds and large old growth ponderosa (“yellow”) pine can be seen during the hike.

Fees:Single unit campsites = $5.00/night. A fee station is available at the campground. (2011)
