This campground offers campsites next to Thompson Reservoir. This reservoir is a popular fishing and boating area with a beautiful forest setting. At full pool this reservoir is 2179 acres. Thompson Reservoir campground is located across the reservoir from the East Bay Campground.

Directions:
From Silver Lake, travel west on Highway 31 and turn left on County Road 4-11. Take Forest Road 27 for 13 miles, then turn left on Forest Road 287 and you will see the campground entrance sign.
