Tyee Campground is located in the Oregon Dunes five miles south of Florence on Highway 101. Tyee sits right next to the Siltcoos Lake outlet going to the ocean. It has a small boat ramp for campers. Many campers bring kayaks and enjoy boating up and down the outlet. A few sites are secluded by local coastal shrubbery and some sites are located on an open meadow setting next to the water. This is a great campground for kids to play and anglers to try their luck from the bank.

Nice but very close to traffic
This campground is in a lush forest and is a launching point for the Siltcoos Canoe Trail. It's beautiful but unfortunately the entire campground is very close to busy highway 101. This would not be my first choice for a coastal campground.
