This campground is located in an old growth forest alongside Salt Creek. Fishing and swimming are popular activities. There is a large picnic area along the creek with fire stoves (built in the 1930's by the Civilian Conservation Corps), picnic tables and a large grassy area for playing volleyball. One half mile east of the campground on Highway 58 is McCredie Hot Springs. The springs have a history of resorts and spas, but currently are undeveloped without any facilities. Caution should be exercised when using the hot springs, they can be very HOT at times.

Directions: 9 miles east of Oakridge along Salt Creek. From Oakridge, proceed east on Hwy 58 for 10 miles to Blue Pool Campground.
