French Pete campground is heavily shaded by a thick canopy of conifers and located at the confluence of French Pete Creek and the South Fork of the McKenzie River. This is a very popular campground to escape the summer heat.
Fees: Site fee $14, extra vehicle $6, Multiple site fee $26 (2011)
Restrooms: Vault Toilet
Restrictions Maximum trailer length 30 feet
Directions: From Blue River, travel 4 miles east on Hwy 126 to Aufderheide Drive (FS road 19). Continue on Aufderheide Drive to French Pete Campground fro approximately 11 miles.
