East Lake Resort is located in a spectacularly scenic vacation, geologic and archeological wonderland located in Central Oregon. Situated in the Newberry National Volcanic Monument Caldera at just under 6,400 feet elevation, the lake is fed by snowmelt and underground springs. Known for it’s exceptional fishing and scenery, East Lake covers 1,050 acres, is approximately a mile in diameter, has a maximum depth of 185 feet, and average depth of over 67 ft. The resort is one of the premier full service fishing resorts in the state. Established in 1915, the resort has cabins, an RV park, lake front tent sites, cafe, general store, gift shop, marina, boat rentals, and many other services. Owned by David and Kathy Jones of Bend, Oregon since 2006, the resort operates from mid-May through mid-September.

In addition to being one of the finest lake fisheries in Oregon, East Lake also offers camping, lake swimming, wildlife watching, cave exploring; mountain biking, hiking, horse trails and much more, all within walking distance or a short drive.
