Next to the upper Metolius River, this campground offers fishing, hiking, and picnicking opportunities.

While most of the campgrounds along the Metolius River are good for RVs of all sizes, Pine Rest is for tent campers only. The campground is not set up with RV's in mind. The parking areas are sized for cars and pickups and most spurs are not longer than about 20 feet. There is a day-use area with picnic tables in a shelter on the river.

Pine Rest is open for camping with reduced fees during the off season with reduced services.

Fees: Per night, per site: May – mid October: $16/first vehicle; $8/each additional vehicle. Rate is lowered from Mid October – April: $12/first vehicle; $6/each additional vehicle. (2011)

Directions: From Sisters, travel 9.6 miles northwest on Hwy 20, then 6.1 miles north on Forest Road 14, then 1.5 miles north on Forest Road 1419.
