Can be crowded during the day.
This campground may be less crowded at night, but it has a short, popular trail that starts in the campground. That and restrooms convenient to daytrippers brings in crowds during the day. No problem if you will be out exploring during yourself. But everytime we came back, someone was using our campsite for a parking space while they were hiking. It is a nice spot, but we'll go two miles up the road to Belle Campground next time.
This is the smallest and least crowded campground in the park. The sites are nestled in among huge granite boulders and the scenery around the camp is stunning. This is NOT a campground for big RV's or trailers and you'll have a heck of a time turning a big rig around if you enter this campground.
