About: The campground is considered "primitive," designed to furnish only the basic needs of the camper. The campsites consist of a cleared area, fire ring, and picnic table. Vault toilets, garbage cans, and drinking water are available. 18 campsites and 1 boat site.
All sites are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Garfvert Campground and Day-Use area is adjacent to Pickerel Lake and the Willard Munger ATV Trail. Located in the Nemadji State Forest.
Directions: From Nickerson take State Hwy. 23 (NE) 0.5 mi.; turn right (S) across RR tracks 0.5 mi.; turn left (E) 1.5 mi. to Nett Lake Forest Rd; turn right (S) 1.5 mi.; turn left (E) about 0.5 mi.
