About: Hill Shade RV park is a small, hidden treasure. We're 11 miles west of Gonzales, Texas, nestled among more than 200 shade trees. Leave the city behind, and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Gonzales is known for its Texas history. Palmetto State Park and Lakewood Recreation Area are a short drive. We are one hour from Austin and San Antonio, and just two hours from Houston.
Directions:
From San Antonio: Take I-10 E (Exit 610): Turn Right onto TX 123. Turn Left onto US-90 Alt. Country Road 90B will be approximately 20 miles on the Right.
From Houston: Take I-10 West (Exit 649): Turn Left onto TX 97. Turn Right onto US-90 Alt. Country Road 90B will be approximately 13 miles on the Left.

Pleaseant, Quiet Place to Stay
This park has recent new owners. They are very helpful, wonderful people. I had a great time visiting with them.
The park is very small and quiet. I enjoyed escaping the hustle and bustle of the big city to enjoy the peaceful park.
My kids enjoyed running and playing in the open courtyard area.
