About: Leisurely living is what life is all about at Pelican Isle, which overlooks the tranquil shores of Richland-Chambers Reservoir, better known as “Texas” newest coast.” Only 15 minutes from I-45 in historic Corsicana.

Complete with paved roads and all utilities, this prized community off of Hwy 287 has direct access to the state’s third largest lake, which holds state fishing records. In addition to championship fishing, this aquatic playground is also a popular spot for swimming, boating and skiing.

Our Clubhouse boasts a large covered pavilion perfect for parties & events with direct access to the pool.

Inside the clubhouse cool off and relax with a book from the loaner library. Worried that you can’t finish the book during your stay? No problem, take it with you. Feel free to leave your favorite book for others to enjoy!

You’ll also have access to our new, modern tiled bath-house with plenty of hot water & a coin operated laundry room located adjacent to the patio.

Directions: From Dallas; Take I-45 South to Exit 229 (Palestine/Hwy 287 South), make a right on the 1st paved road (2nd right) after the bridge and drive 1.5 miles to Pelican Isle.
