Campground Reviews
Good...but
We do like coming to Snug Harbor, and have for many years. In recent times, though, they have been putting up these little modular cabins (min $400 a night!) in literally all the good camp sites. They also allow a lot of camp site leasing or something, because the majority of the sites left after all the modulars are clearly "owned" by those camping there, ie. semi permanent decks and such. That has left only a handful of campsites for RVs. I made reservations in January and could not get four sites in a row. They recently cut down a bunch of trees and it was hot as heck! The other downside is they charge for everything on the planet you can think of. The upside, to be fair, and the reason we like it, is that you can still have your boat docked at your campsite. The info in the Camping USA ad for Snug Harbor is WAY out of date, and they DO NOT allow tent camping for several years now.
