Treat yourself to a small, isolated campground where you can be close to Mother Nature. Wake to the sounds of birds chirping out your window or spot a coyote running across the pasture in the early morning light. Spend your evenings watching the gorgeous Nebraska sunsets and study the stars at night. You may even hear a mother cow bawl to her baby. Our camping area for RVs, tents, campers, and vans offers scenic views of the Wildcat Hills in a rugged atmosphere unlike the concrete and pavement of other campgrounds. Our 4,000 acre working cattle ranch is available to you for a challenging hiking or trail riding experience, as well. (You must bring your own horse to trail ride.)We have a few electrical hookups and water hydrants nearby, but most sites are rather primitive for a real "Back to Nature" camping experience. A relaxing picnic area with barbecue grill is provided for your convenience. The area is well lit by security lights for good visibility at night. (Sorry we do not presently have a shower/bath house.)Area Attraction and Events:Chimney Rock National Historic Site and Visitors CenterScottsbluff National MonumentAgate Fossil Beds National MonumentBuffalo Creek State Wildlife AreaCabela'sOregon Trail Days CelebrationRodeosFishing, Hunting, Golfing, Biking, Swimming, Bowling, Antiquing.
