About: Soldier Lake Campground is easily accessible from M-28, and yet is a quiet relaxing site that is well away from any noise of the highway. It gives the camper a feeling of remoteness and is still close enough to roads leading to some of the best sight-seeing in the Upper Peninsula. Stop and see the historical monument that overlooks the tiny Monument Lake.

Directions: From the intersection of M-28 and I-75 drive west on M-28 22.4 miles to FR 3138. Turn left (south) on FR 3138 and drive one mile to Soldier Lake Campground.
