About: Lake Hemet is surrounded by the majestic beauty of the San Jacinto Mountains. The scenery is breathtaking no matter which direction your gaze travels. Tall pines, manzanita trees, sage, and giant oaks abound. Remember to pack a camera and binoculars, and keep a watchful eye as the Eagles and their chicks are often seen soaring above and around the Campground. There will also be plenty of Red Hawks soaring overhead throughout the Forest and Campground.

From CA-74 E (North West): Head northeast on CA-74 E/Florida Ave toward Mc Call Park Rd. Continue to follow CA-74 E. Turn right onto Forest Route 6S15/Hemet Lake Rd.
From CA-243 S (North West): Head southwest on CA-243 S/Banning-Idyllwild Panoramic Hwy toward Forest-Service 3E08/Forest Srv Rd. Continue to follow Banning-Idyllwild Panoramic Hwy. Continue onto CA-74 E/Florida Ave. Continue to follow CA-74 E. Turn right onto Forest Route 6S15/Hemet Lake Rd.
From CA-74 W (South East): Head southwest on CA-74 W/Pines to Palms Hwy toward Bull Canyon Rd. Turn left onto Forest Route 6S15/Hemet Lake Rd.
From CA-371 E (South East): Head northeast on CA-371 E/Kenworthy Bautista Rd toward CA-74 W/Pines to Palms Hwy. Turn left onto CA-74 W/Pines to Palms Hwy. Turn left onto Forest Route 6S15/Hemet Lake Rd.
